The project team would like to thank the Green Fund for co-funding the NTUA activities. More specifically, according to the Decision Number 138.6/2018 of the Management Board of the Green Fund, the amount of 10,000 Euro was approved for the year 2018 for NTUA.
On the 3rdof February 2018, the coordinating beneficiary participated in the workshop “Actions for Climate Change in the Agricultural and Forestry Sectors-LIFE Projects”organized by LIFE Foresmit (LIFE14 CCM/IT/000905) in the framework of the 27th International fair for agricultural machinery, equipments and supplies-Agrotica (http://agrotica.helexpo.gr/en) in Thessaloniki–Greece.
Chania Valley aquifer flow results were presented with a poster entitled “Water Balance Assessment Using Groundwater Footprint Concept – The Chania Valley Case” at the Summer School on Floods and Flood Risk Management. This event was organized by the Jade University of Applied Sciences along with the University of the Aegean, on the Island of Lesvos (Greece), from the 17 to 23 September.
The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) team presented the results of the Chania Valley aquifer flow simulations on the European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2017, Vienna, Austria. The presentation entitled ‘Assessing Groundwater Resources Sustainability Using Groundwater Footprint Concept’.
SICILY partner participated at the BIAT 2017 meeting (Innovation and High Technology Lab) that was held in Catania-Sicily on 2-3 March 2017, presenting ADAPT2CLIMA project.

This two-hour webinar intends to provide an opportunity for sector stakeholders to learn about, discuss and exchange experiences about climate change adaptation challenges in agriculture.
The event takes place as part of the pilot study on Climate-ADAPT: Dissemination and capacity-building supporting adaptation in the framework of the EU adaptation strategy - Building a community of practice, initiated by the European Commission.

The Region of Crete - CRETE – organized on the 23rd of December 2015 a launching event at the Hotel Capsis Astoria (Heraclion) in the framework of the ADAPT2CLIMA project. At the event participated, apart from representatives of the project partners, representatives from the Region, universities and other research institutions.
In the framework of the project ADAPT2CLIMA, the Agricultural Research Institute of Cyprus (ARI) organized on the 4th of December, 10.00 a.m. , the project launching event for the study area of Cyprus. At the event, partners from Greece and Italy - apart from Cyprus - also participated.
